Problem Statement
Children’s skeletons mature at different rates, and they can be affected by a variety of factors including disease, hormonal imbalance or genetics. The assessment of skeletal maturity is a frequently performed procedure that allows the detection of hormonal, growth or genetic disorders. To this day, several methods have been developed to estimate skeletal maturity, of which the most common one is with the use of radiological examinations

Solution
Skeletal age is frequently used by clinicians in a multitude of fields such as evaluating pediatric genetic or metabolic disorders and help determine the skeletal growth status and potential of children, to monitor responses to medical therapy, and for age evaluation in forensic and legal practice. I use Machine learning concepts to automate the process of finding skeletal maturity of children using Matlab

Beneficiary
Skeletal age is frequently used by clinicians in a multitude of fields such as evaluating pediatric genetic or metabolic disorders and help determine the skeletal growth status and potential of children, to monitor responses to medical therapy, and for age evaluation in forensic and legal practice.

Innovation
Skeletal age is an essential part of Orthodontics. In the treatment planning, evaluation of skeletal maturation is of clinical significance, and is an integral part of individual patterns of growth and development. As most orthodontic patients are growing individuals; orthodontists have to consider the remaining craniofacial growth of each patient for successful treatment planning. I use a very simple and lucid way of finding skeletal age using Matlab

India's Sustainable Development
With this it will help the orthodontics and medical sector of India.
