To measure high rating current (minimum 200A),voltage(minimum 430V) and frequency(50Hz) in each phase of three phase of AC supply including neutral phase and to display them spontaneously.
A current transformer is used in along with 0-5 A moving iron AC ammeter the range of ammeter can be increased. A potential transformer is used in along with 0-110 V moving iron AC volt meter the range of voltmeter can be increased. The range of voltmeter can be increased using potential transformer along with 0-110 V moving iron AC volt meter or Multiplier resistance in connected in series with voltmeter. By the use of PIC microcontroller (PIC16F877A) and using MP lab software we can interface with external devices such as Ammeter and voltmeter and this project will display the values of current and voltage simultaneously.
This project is an industry based project, it has a benefit of measuring and displaying high current and voltage which will be highly useful for high power consumption industries. By this project we can monitor the current in all three phase supply along with neutral phase supply.
This solution helps to display the high rating of current and voltage with minimum of 200 amps current & maximum of 400 amps current and 430 V voltage respectively. This solution helps to display for all three phase AC supply.
